The aim of the course is to introduce students to language material from everyday life through the use of fairly complex sentence structures, communication and expression within familiar topics, and the production of longer speech segments. Furthermore, the aim of the course is for students to continue to develop an interest in the Chinese language and confidence in its use, as well as competencies related to intercultural communication and Chinese culture.
