The course offers an overview of some representative recent US ethnic literary and visual production focusing in part one on some long-term ethnicities (notably, African American and Native American), while pursuing in part two some more recent ethnic creative output by or about Asian Americans, Latinos/ Chicanos and Arab Americans.
